Five steps, practiced with care.
The path from first question to finished edition: observe, trace, compose, live with it, then release and refine.

Observe
We start from a real need or a material worth understanding — never from a trend. A note is opened only when there is a genuine question behind it: why this ingredient, why this ritual, why now.
Nothing is sourced or designed to fill a catalogue gap.

Trace
Origin, grower or maker, processing method and handling are recorded in plain language before any design work begins. If a claim cannot be traced to a named source, it does not appear on the object or the page.
- 03
Compose
Function and feeling are brought together, then everything that does not serve either is removed — packaging, language, even scent load. Restraint is treated as a design constraint, not an aesthetic preference.
- 04
Live with it
A working edition is considered over time before release. Feedback is weighed against the original question and the intended ritual.
- 05
Release & refine
Each edition enters the Maison with clear material and care notes. The record evolves when sourcing, technique or understanding improves.
